Spontaneous Creative Expression Workshop
About Reem Aboulhosn, the Facilitator
From a early age Reem was always drawing, scribbling, dancing, doing anything that kept her hands and feet busy creating imaginary worlds and being entranced by the process of creation. She graduated with a BA in Visual Communication from the American University in Dubai in 2001 and has been working in the branding industry since. In 2005 Reem started seeking a deeper understanding of herself and of the world around her. She studied several disciplines in energy healing, including; Reiki, meditation, shamanic ceremonial practices, and spontaneous creative expression.
There are many benefits to spontaneous creative expression, it is a powerful tool that guides us in healing ourselves physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. The forms and images that we create are exact reflections of our authentic self. When done spontaneously we let them manifest without judgment and control, allowing us to have huge insights into the nature of our present state of being. We can tap into a varied levels of depths, sometimes channeling divine messages and other times just enjoying the process. Reem hopes to continue teaching and leading others into experiencing such rich and profound states of creativity and healing.
Requirements:
- An open heart and childlike spirit
- Comfortable clothing you don't mind getting a little paint on
- Something to write on ( Journal, or lose paper )
- All other materials will be provided
These sessions will allow you to:
- Move into deeper awareness.
- Spontaneously move, wildly paint, and fully experience your truth.
- Release blocks of energy and free your spirit of pent up emotions.
- Help you relax and unwind.
How the sessions will be structured:
1. Introductions and intentions. Locating yourself in this moment in time and space.
2. Small meditation/relaxation exercise.
3. Spontaneous Painting, creative journaling and recording the elements of your painting.
4. Group energy connection and sharing (optional).

Create Your Vision Board!
A vision board is a framework for the process of creating your life. Energy follows thought. Thought is Creative. By creating a vision board, you are one step closer to manifesting your dreams in reality. The purpose of a vision board is to activate the law of attraction to begin to pull things from your external environment that will enable you to realize your dream. By selecting the pictures and writing that charges your emotions with feelings of passion, you will begin to manifest those things into your life. In this workshop, you will:
- Understand how the mind processes visuals and affirmations in order to create a powerful and effective vision board
- Understand and apply Feng Shui and Color Therapy principles to your vision board
- Unleash your creativity through a creative visualization meditation
- Create your own vision board
Taking Charge: Practical Applications for Daily Use
A 3-step program designed to empower you to take charge of your life
Use a combination of breathing techniques to connect with the self, EET to clear your emotional blocks, and self-hypnosis to re-orient your mind to the behavior and life you would really like to live. Take charge from within by becoming aware of the self, the power of the mind, and the states of consciousness.

Workshop Description
Step 1: Breathing
Learn how to control your breath to become aware of the self. Identify the patterns and belief systems in your life that are not serving you well. Utilize the breath to clear away any thoughts, emotions, energy, or physical blocks that are currently limiting you from achieving your full potential.
Step 2: EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique)
Release issues, traumas, and negative experiences through the Emotional Freedom Technique. By tapping your energy meridiens, learn how to release fears and stored toxic emotions, or simply understand the root cause of your discomfort. Use EFT on your children, your family, and your friends to help them release their negative emotions instead of internalizing them, which leads to disease and pain in the body. Most body pains are simply signals from your body that you are storing toxic emotions or belief systems that need to be changed.
Step 3: Self-Hypnosis
Learn how to meditate with a very simple yet effective technique, which will allow you to meditate at will at any time. Through self-hypnosis, master the process of using suggestions to change your belief systems and therefore, the situations you attract in your life. Learn how to program your mind to live out the very existence that you choose. But above all, find peace and harmony from within by incorporating meditation into your daily routine. Your energy levels will increase while stress will eliminate.
